Reaching Millennials

JFIs your congregation seeking to attract more people in their teens through their thirties? Are you interested in cultivating the leadership of your congregation to include people in the Millennial generation?

At this luncheon workshop, Jennifer Fisher of the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, shares research to help congregations better understand and reach this large and upcoming generation. Millennials are strong in numbers, potential and passion to give and lead.  Discover ways to connect with people in this powerful demographic.

Participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of different generations and why it’s important to respect their differences.
  • Learn how older Millennials are different from their younger Millennial counter-parts.
  • Identify effective strategies for reaching out to and engaging those in the Millennial generation.
  • Discover marketing strategies to gain Millennials’ attention.

Fisher is program manager of the graduate retention program at the Chamber of Commerce. She has an MBA in Organizational Development and has experience in human resources, management, training, marketing and more.
