Thriving congregations have a sense of direction. Identifying that direction requires thoughtful reflection and intentional planning. In this luncheon workshop, participants learn a model of strategic planning and discover resources to help them use that model in their congregations. Each participant will receive handouts that will enable them to continue the conversation back in their own congregational setting.
The luncheon workshop is facilitated by Center staffers Nancy DeMott and Tim Shapiro, who worked with 60 congregations on a long-term strategic planning program in central Indiana.
A Practical Guide to Congregational Planning is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (Central time) Thursday, February 9, 2012, in Evansville and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (Eastern time) Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Fort Wayne.
