Nancy’s work for the Center includes consulting with congregations on a variety of issues, though she is a recognized expert in congregation management software, technology needs, and business management practices. She also serves as the ICC’s Finance Director, managing the Center’s internal financial processes, reporting and budgeting. Nancy recently co-led the Computers and Ministry Grants Initiative with Aaron Spiegel, Information Technology Director. She is co-author (with Aaron Spiegel and Brent Bill) of 40 Days and 40 Bytes: Making Computers Work for Your Congregation.
Nancy is an Industrial Engineer and former church business administrator, most recently serving on the staff of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church as Director of Finance and Computer Services. She has more than fifteen years experience as a staff member and consultant with several congregations in the greater Indianapolis area.
Nancy has authored various articles, including A New Way of Thinking: Innovative We-Based CMS Focuses on People, The Tech Commandments, Best Practices for Using Computers in Congregations, Books and Bytes and Choosing Technology that Forwards Mission and Ministry.
