Grants & Initiatives

Through the Center's innovative grants programs, we help provide congregations with the financial ability to tap into the resources we help them find. The Center has two types of grants programs - the Resource Grants Program and the Major Grants Initiative.

The Resource Grants Program is an ongoing granting opportunity offered by the Center. Resource Grants allow congregations that are in a resource consulting or resource discovery relationship with the Center to apply for funding for resources that address an issue on which they are currently working.

The Major Grants Initiative (MGI) is a specialized granting program that occurs once during a three year cycle. The MGI focuses on one specific congregational challenge and, as part of the process, includes classroom training on this challenge. Past MGIs include the Computers and Ministry Grants Initiative, the Sacred Space Grants Initiative, the Life Together Grants Initiative and the Technology and Ministry Grants Initiative.
