Presenter Mark Chaves, a professor at Duke University and director of the National Congregations Study, shared the latest research on trends in religious beliefs and practices and congregational life. This workshop was held in April 2009 in Munster and Fort Wayne.
Chaves discussed belief, practice and experience; religious affiliation and congregational participation; and dynamics of congregational life such as worship style, use of technology, age of clergy, and more.
